Feeding & Care
Feeding Guidelines:
For adult cats over twelve months, serve according to weight:
4-7 lbs (1.8-3.2 kg): 1/4-1/2 cup (32-64 g)
8-10 lbs (3.3-4.5 kg): 1/2-3/4 cup (64-96 g)
11-15 lbs (4.6-6.8 kg): 3/4-1 cup (96-127 g)
Over 15 lbs (over 6.8 kg): Add 1/8 cup (15 g) for each additional 2 lbs.
For gestating or lactating cats, increase food during the second half of gestation and feed as much as needed during lactation. For kittens, introduce dry food around five weeks and allow free feeding until twelve months.
When feeding wet and dry together, reduce dry food by 1/8 cup for every small can (2.8-3 oz) of wet food. Adjust amounts based on your cat’s lifestyle and activity. Always provide fresh water.
